  1. Labour the Hypocrites, they complain about the governments benefit cuts hammering the poor and disabled, yet they VOTED FOR THE CUTS or as usual abstained, instead of doing the right thing and growing a pair and VOTING AGAINST the cuts along with the SNP and others.

  2. I’ve seen what devastation that people have been transferred to universal face. Whether it the rent that can get to be 5 weeks behind to putting food in the table. To schools refusing to carry on with free school meals and bus passes because they neither understand or not recognise what the implications are especially in the interim period when they wait to be paid. Schools demanding a months worth of school dinner money because in their eyes in that interim you don’t qualify because you are not on benefit. Then there’s the council tax on your back and the job centre. Then when it does come through you have to pay 5 weeks back rent as well as that months rent. The more UC is rolled out the more families will be homeless and plunged into poverty. Bizarrely it is friends and neighbours – who are on low income themselves – help out to feed the kids. What sort of a country are we becoming? How soon are we going to see more people demonstrating on the streets again?
