Without a doubt. Immigrants claiming benefits in this country has never been conclusively proven to negatively affect our economy or society.

I have seen no one, not one single fucking person ever come forward with some statistics and say, ”here’s some evidence that we need to put a cap on immigrants claiming benefits because it’s significantly harming our economy”.

No, this idea has sprung from a bunch of misinformed morons who know nothing about immigration, getting pissed off about seeing foreigners not working and simultaneously not having to suffer the indignation of going to food banks or begging.

Labour could easily rise above the idiocy of the general public and say: ”Hey we’re gonna be honest here guys, you know what’s a much bigger problem than immigrants claiming benefits right now? Wealth disparity, tax evasion, zero hour contracts, benefit sanctions, food banks, payday lender loans, soaring rent prices, social cleansing policies, soaring energy prices, lack of social housing, the gradual erosion of civil liberties, workers rights and job security, the mass stigmatisation of the disabled, sick, unemployed, homeless and hungry”. Instead they prefer to flush their integrity down the toilet for a few measly votes.

We’ll Ban EU Migrants From Claiming Benefits For Two Years, Say Labour – Welfare Weekly, 12 December 2014

The sooner everyone gets wise to Labour’s bullshit the better. I’m from a post-industrial ex-mining town in the north-west of England and I can’t fucking stand the Tories, but at least they don’t come across as pathetically weak and duplicitous as Labour does.

Labour doesn’t give a shit about the poor any more than the Tories do. Everyone needs to stop expecting them to give even the slightest fuck about welfare, the disabled, the sick, the homeless, the hungry or the vulnerable because it’s never gonna happen.

  1. It’s never been conclusively proven that mass unfettered immigration has benefitted anyone but the rich because flooding the market drives down wages, and people sending money out of the nation to their families in other countries only benefits other countries not us.

  2. Agree with the comment but not voting for Labour is pure madness. PS a Tourettes and Valium 500mg pack is available at Boots.

For the record, the following list are the policies Labour have announced for 2015 so far. Under absolutely no definition could this list be thought of as right wing. None. Is it perfect? Of course not. Do I wish they would go further? Of course I do. Will they stick to every one if they win in 2015? None of us can possibly know. Sadly, you still can’t get crystal balls on Amazon.

But the list represents the progressive Labour party we’ve had for decades. Doubt them, push them, hold them to account, but if you want the Tories out and you live in a marginal seat, voting for anyone but Labour will get you exactly what you most fear. 5 more years of Cameron.
